A booking is confirmed once a 15% non-refundable deposit has been paid via our secure payment system (Stripe). You will receive a confirmation email with your booking reference.
The remaining balance is due 30 days before the departure date. Failure to pay the balance by the due date may result in cancellation of your booking.
All prices are listed in British Pounds (GBP) and include guided walking, accommodation coordination, and trip planning. Prices do not include flights, travel insurance, personal expenses, or optional activities unless stated otherwise.
Cancellation requests can be submitted through your account page or by emailing us directly. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance that covers cancellation.
We reserve the right to cancel a trip due to insufficient group size (minimum 4 participants), severe weather, or force majeure events. In such cases, you will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to an alternative date at no extra cost.
You may transfer your booking to a different departure date, subject to availability, provided the request is made at least 60 days before the original departure date. One free transfer is permitted; subsequent transfers incur a processing fee.
All participants are required to have comprehensive travel insurance covering hiking activities, medical emergencies, evacuation, and trip cancellation. Proof of insurance may be requested before departure.
The Lycian Way involves challenging terrain including steep ascents, rocky paths, and high temperatures. Participants must be in adequate physical condition for the route they have booked. If you have any health conditions, please inform us before booking.
We reserve the right to exclude participants from sections of the walk if their fitness level poses a safety risk to themselves or the group.
Hiking and outdoor activities carry inherent risks. See our separate Hiking Risk Disclaimer for a full explanation. By booking a tour or using our trail information, you acknowledge those risks and accept personal responsibility for your safety. LycianWay is not liable for injuries, losses, or delays caused by factors beyond our reasonable control, including weather, natural events, third-party services, or participant actions. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded (e.g. death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or fraud).
When you book a LycianWay-organised tour, your contract is with Pixelo Mobile Ltd (company number 10585806) trading as LycianWay.
When you book a tour, accommodation, transfer, or other service from a third-party provider listed on our marketplace, your contract is directly with that provider, not with LycianWay. LycianWay's role in marketplace bookings is limited to facilitating introductions. See our Marketplace Terms for full detail.
LycianWay services are not directed at children under 13. To create an account you must be at least 16 (EU/UK users) or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction. Participants under 18 on guided tours must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who is a paying participant.
We may take photographs during trips for marketing purposes. If you prefer not to be photographed, please inform your guide at the start of the trip. By participating, you consent to the use of group photographs unless you opt out.
If you have a complaint, please raise it with your guide during the trip so we can address it promptly. Written complaints should be sent to hello@lycianway.co.uk within 28 days of your return.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
